ALA Community
The ALA is more than just an organization that provides outstanding educational resources, at its’ heart is a community.
One of the largest benefits of membership is access to this community. The ALA is comprised of thousands of legal administrators, specialists, and business partners who are willing to assist each member’s growth and development as a legal professional. Members of the community are joined together through meetings, forums, publications, conferences, and events on both a local and international level.
I have been employed in the legal industry for well over 20 years. I can’t begin to explain how much value I have found within the ALA community. What I can do is directly point to my membership with the ALA and the Oregon Chapter specifically, as a reason for my success. Without the educational information, friendships, and networking, I would not have been able to achieve the success, confidence, and satisfaction that I currently enjoy.
This does not only apply to my business success – but also to my personal success. I have formed strong relationships with many of my fellow chapter members that transcend the chapter and has contributed to the happiness in my life. Through ALA social events and community involvement I have striven to give back to those I come in contact with.
The ALA community encourages us to be better professionals and individuals and helps us meet those goals.
